Job Description

The School requires, from July 2024:
Head of Netball
Salary: £35,000pa-£42,000pa
All-year round role; 40 days’ holiday (including bank holidays)
Generous School fee remission
Lunch without charge in term time

A well-qualified graduate and outstanding netball coach is required to take the leading role in the continued development of netball as one of the School’s major sports. The successful candidate will have experience of the England Netball Performance Pathway and may have coached/played at Superleague Academy level. They will be able to coach a second sport, ideally hockey, football, athletics, cricket or rugby. The Head of Netball will be expected to contribute fully to the wider co-curricular and boarding life of the School, including Saturday fixtures during term time, as well as pre-season training and UK/international tours. During School holidays, the Head of Netball will work with children attending summer camps and sport camps.

The School enjoys first class floodlit facilities, including: 8 netball courts, 2 all-weather hockey pitches, a 3G rugby training pitch, a national standard athletics track, extensive playing fields, 25m 6-lane indoor pool, 10 tennis courts, sports hall and fitness suite. New Hall has a strong reputation for sport, with students competing at county, regional and national level in a wide range of sports.
