After 16 years and over 15,000 runs as a professional cricketer with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, I’ve transitioned into coaching with the same drive, discipline, and passion that defined my playing career.
I built a career defined by consistency, leadership, and achievement at the top of the order. Across 357 appearances in all formats, I amassed 11,237 first-class runs, 2,446 List A runs, and 1,543 T20 runs, including 26 centuries and a career-best 268 against Glamorgan in 2015.
As club captain from 2018 to 2021, I led Gloucestershire to promotion to Division One of the County Championship in 2019, and a career highlight was lifting the Royal London One Day Cup at Lord’s in 2015.
My game was built on consistency, leadership, and adaptability — qualities I now bring to my coaching practice.
I work with players across all levels: from young, aspiring batters to those on the cusp of academy or professional contracts, as well as current professionals and international cricketers. My coaching blends deep playing experience with modern, tech-enabled methods to help players score runs against all types of bowling and thrive under pressure.
Having played with and against some of the world’s best — and been coached by elite mentors — I’ve developed a coaching philosophy rooted in clarity, confidence, and continuous improvement. I understand what it takes to succeed at the highest level, and I’m committed to helping others do the same.
