Eastbourne College, in partnership with the RFU seeks to appoint an inspirational and energetic, Schools Rugby Manager (SRM) / Post-graduate Sports Coach (rugby) from July 2026. This is a full-time role, fixed term for 3 years but may be extended depending on RFU funding. England Rugby has set a bold target to bring rugby union into an additional 5,000 state primary and secondary schools by 2027, led by a network of 100 School Rugby Managers. Based at Eastbourne College, you’ll drive this growth locally, introducing T1 rugby in schools, developing teachers and young leaders, organising inclusive playing opportunities, and creating lasting school-to-club links. You’ll collaborate with Heads of PE, senior school leaders, England Rugby staff, and community partners to ensure rugby thrives in every setting — with a special focus on reaching new and underrepresented groups.
