The King’s Hospital School, a vibrant and historic boarding and day school, celebrated its
350th year in 2019. Situated on an 80-acre site in West Dublin, the school holds a unique

Dublin and Glendalough, while also functioning as a Church of Ireland Parish.
Throughout its long history, the school has adapted to societal changes, including becoming
coeducational in the 1960s and being at the forefront of diversity and inclusion initiatives in
recent decades.
As an educational institution deeply rooted in Church of Ireland values, The King’s Hospital
School is committed to delivering Christian education within a plural society. The school
prides itself on fostering a sense of equality, diversity, and inclusion among all community
