S. Anselm’s is an award winning, co-educational day and boarding school on the outskirts of Bakewell, in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, about 20 minutes drive from Chesterfield and 30 minutes from Sheffield.

We have outstanding facilities including a full sized Astroturf pitch, an indoor pool, large sports hall, tennis and netball courts and extensive playing fields.

Sports coaches play an integral role in developing the skills of pupils across the age (7-13) and ability range. 

Our main sports for boys are football, hockey and cricket, and for girls are hockey, netball and cricket. We also currently offer pupils experience of swimming, table tennis, cross country, gymnastics, tennis, basketball, rounders and athletics. Ideal candidates will offer a strong affinity to working with children, a deep love of sport and the capacity to develop sporting ability.
