Rugby is the principal boys’ game of the Autumn term at Barnard Castle.  Over 400 players are regularly involved in an extensive rugby programme of coaching and matches throughout the school, and there is a desire and potential to further develop Girls’ rugby to increase participation.

The Rugby programme is both inclusive and ambitious, supporting players of all abilities while providing a pathway for those aiming to compete at the highest levels.
