Established in the 1930s, Worth School is a highly successful co-educational, Catholic, Benedictine, 11-18 HMC boarding and day school of circa 650 pupils. We offer a broad curriculum, including the International Baccalaureate and A-levels in the Sixth Form.
An education with heart and soul, which is what we aspire to at Worth, equips young people to see the value of things, to exercise good judgement and enjoy the fruits of imagination throughout their lives. Lived out at school, our values encourage pupils to be ambitious, to strive for academic success and to develop a love of learning.
But they go further. They encourage pupils to be self-aware, to become more centred individuals, conscious both of their strengths and their weaknesses, and able to separate beauty, truth and goodness from noise and distraction.
Pupils are encouraged to live in the present, to value the small, day-to-day moments of life and not always be looking impatiently to the next thing. Worth pupils learn that while living in a community requires effort, that effort brings great rewards, such as a strong sense of belonging and a desire to see justice for everyone in society.
