Over a number of years, Queen's College students have enjoyed regional and national success over a range of sports and disciplines. Students represent the school with pride and passion and our facilities and extensive grounds allow a wide variety of sports to be played.

All pupils from Nursery to Sixth Form participate in the School’s sports programme throughout the week. Team sports and regular fixtures are introduced in Year 3 with regular Saturday fixtures for Years 7 - 13. 

 

Our sports staff are dedicated and hard working and we are very proud of our sporting tradition. ‘Sport for Life’ is essential and through an athlete-centred programme we seek to give every pupil a positive experience of physical activity with the  understanding of the importance it plays in a balanced and healthy lifestyle, regardless of age or ability. 

 

We are now seeking to appoint a Director of Sport to lead our Games and PE offering and manage the talented and enthusiastic team of staff.

The successful applicant will be a knowledgeable, inspirational and innovative coach and an experienced teacher of PE up to A Level standard.  Energy, enthusiasm and passion are a given along with the willingness to lead from the front.
