Charterhouse seeks to appoint a Head of Netball with effect from September 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Sport / Assistant Director of Sport and other members of the Sports Department to promote sport and fair play at Charterhouse, and to spearhead netball in keeping with the traditions of the School, developing the sporting potential of pupils to their highest possible standards in style and excellence. They will also support the allround physical development, safety and welfare of pupils. A strong sporting background and a proven track record in management and administration are essential.
This post will suit an ambitious, motivated and highly qualified netball coach with previous experience of working in schools, able to coach at all levels up to 1st Team Netball level. The Head of Netball will devise and implement a clear strategy for the continuing development of Charterhouse’s netball programme, while contributing fully to the wider sporting life of the School and supporting co-curricular activities.
Further, the postholder will demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills and support the Head of Tennis with all administrative aspects of tennis including fixtures, budgets, transport, catering and competition entries.
