Ampleforth College have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic versatile and flexible Netball Coach to join a high performing Games Department in the Lent Term.  The Games Department at Ampleforth College is a thriving and successful faculty, offering an array of sporting opportunities across a range of sport, and deliver a wide and varied sporting program that caters for all abilities and aspirations. The College are pleased to include a number of former international sportsmen and women, professional coaches, staff solely dedicated to the running of our school sport, and committed academic staff, that supplement a motivated and skilled academic staff in order to offer a market leading sports program in the north-east. This level of support guarantees the best possible environment for every student to develop their skills, including the very elite.

The successful candidate will join a thriving team and support both students and staff in the department.

Sport forms an integral part of a child’s development whilst at Ampleforth College. This is achieved through providing a sports programme that has a positive influence on all ages and all abilities and instils a life-long love for sport and physical activity.  The aim is to develop every child’s interest, passion and performance in sport, from aspiring internationals to those who chose physical activity purely as part of a healthy lifestyle.

This is a term time only position with variable hours. This post is open for both qualified teachers (NQTs or those with years of experience) as well as freelance coaches.
