KCS Wimbledon are seeking to appoint an Acting Head of Girls’ Sport from January 2027 to cover a period of maternity leave. King’s has around 140 girls in our co-educational sixth form, where sport plays a central role in school life and forms an important part of the curriculum. The school are proud of the breadth of opportunities available and the strong culture of participation, commitment and enjoyment that underpins sport throughout the school. The successful post-holder will be an ambassador for girls’ sport within the King’s community, overseeing the co-ordination and running of girls’ sport. In particular, they will lead the netball programme which is a core sport in the spring term. The successful candidate may also contribute to the boys’ and co-educational sports programme across the junior and/or senior schools, in line with their interests and experience.
