Personal Summary

As a highly motivated and ambitious educator and coach, I hold the AFC Pro Diploma, UEFA A, Elite Youth A Diploma, and have gained extensive experience in coaching and management across various countries, including England, the Netherlands, Australia, Uzbekistan and Thailand. With over 20 years of experience in roles such as Manager, First Team Coach, Academy Manager, Academy Coach and Scout, I have successfully designed coaching curriculums to enhance player and club technical and tactical attributes. I have a proven track record in player development, as demonstrated by my successful record of helping players progress along the performance pathway, securing professional contracts in England, the Netherlands, Australia and Uzbekistan as well as representing their country at the u17s and u20s World Cups and current senior internationals.

Recent work: I am currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Elite Performance at UCLan which is linked to Elite Coach Education & Development, Elite Programmes & Curriculums and finally Elite Player Development. I am currently working as a self-employed Player, Performance and Match analyst for different organisations within Europe. Also, last year I worked as an assistant First Team coach at FC Sogdiana where I was the tactical, technical and analytical coach in the Uzbekistan Super League. Coaching seven Youth Internationals (1x u17s World cup 2023), one current senior International and five senior ex-internationals.

Player & Club Development: I have authored and delivered Individual Development Plans for players, which outline a 3-month strategy for player development, prioritising progression and understanding their own current status. Additionally, I have formulated a 5-Year Club Technical Policy Plan that’s aimed at player progression. This methodology has yielded outstanding results, with several players achieving success in national and international competitions, including playing for their own country. Additionally, my extensive network of contacts throughout Europe and Asia has enabled me to collaborate and learn from other professionals in player development and recruitment.

Project Management: I have over 15-years’ experience in Project Management with extensive experience of working within Blue Chip organisations with large complex multiple work streams and Programme management teams ranging from circa £80 Million to £13 Billion. This includes an excellent understanding of the Project life-cycle, Programme and Project Risk & Issues, Planning, Management Information Reporting and Training Needs Analysis. Furthermore, clubs, teams and individual needs are looked into to improve and gain greater understanding of where they want to be and how to achieve that e.g. qualification for Europe/Asia or playing international standard.
