Andrew Thompson

 My name is Andrew Thompson; I am a qualified physical education teacher. I was born and raised in the UK, completing my GCSE's and A level's before progressing onto Manchester Metropolitan University to study sports coaching and development. After taking a year away from my studies to work in a school, I completed my teaching certificate in physical education at Wolverhampton University.

My teaching career began at Madeley Academy, where I was the lead physical education teacher for students aged 16-18 years old. My educational journey has moved me to teach in Beijing, China. I have over 15 years of experience in schools with diverse expertise in shaping students' lifetime success with physical education and curriculum activities. I have held positions as head of department, grade level leader, assistant activities and athletics director and director of activities and sport. During my free time, my passions are sport and my family.
