Hi My name is Nick Attenborough,
I am an experienced, professional sports coach, I am currently a full time Sports Coach at Kingston Grammar School where I specialise in Cricket and Football, I work specifically within the high performance cricket program, undertaking 1 to 1 cricket sessions as well as leading teams in the summer, I have played a big part on the girls side of the school. . Away from this role I enjoy head coaching (part time) at cricket and football clubs.
Prior to working at KGS, I was the PE coordinator at Ashley Primary School in Walton-on-Thames. in my first full year at the school, I managed to win 5 major competitions, including the Athletics district sports competition, alongside guiding the Year 6 boys football team to the ESFA National finals up in Leicester. Overall we came 4th place out of 5,000 schools.
I would love a role that encompasses both football and cricket, I look forward to anybody who would like to learn more.
To Work in the High performance Cricket program, providing 1 to 1 cricket sessions to cricket players at the school. During my first year at the school I coached the Under 14 girls Cricket team to the Surrey County Cup final. This role also involves me writing reports on players, looking at video analysis, and keeping records such as records, playing/club history.
I have also had a hand in the football program, working with the Under 18 squads.
Lead the PE and sports provision for the school, providing inclusive PE lessons for all children at the school from years reception to year 6.
Headed the Football and cricket programs, took the school football teams to fixtures and arranged fixtures with other schools. In my first year at the school, I took the year 6 football team to the ESFA National finals. I also guided the school to its first ever district sports Championship, the school coming top out of 13 schools.
