The King’s Hospital School is looking to appoint an outstanding and experienced leader to the position of Director of Sport. This is a pivotal senior leadership role with responsibility for the strategic development, planning, management, and delivery of all recreational and competitive sport across the School.
The successful candidate will lead and inspire a team of head coaches and staff in providing high-quality sporting opportunities for all students, fostering participation, performance, wellbeing, and inclusion in alignment with the School’s core values. The Director of Sport will ensure that all programmes and activities are delivered to the highest professional standards and in full compliance with the School’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
The Director of Sport will play a central role in shaping and delivering the long-term strategic vision for sport at The King’s Hospital School, driving excellence in coaching, facilities, participation, and performance pathways. In addition, the postholder will have significant input into the ongoing development of the School’s campus masterplan, ensuring that future facilities and infrastructure developments support and enhance the School’s sporting ambitions, student experience, and wider community engagement.

The King’s Hospital School, a vibrant and historic boarding and day school, celebrated its
